there's no place like home

This girl cracks me up.  She loves shoes and I love that she is creative in her fashion statements...be bold baby, be bold!  As I pray over this sweet princess I pray that she finds her self worth in the Lord.  I pray that she stands strong against culture regardless if she stands alone or not.  I pray that the Lord keeps her pure in mind, body and spirit.  It's been heavy on my heart lately to be diligent in praying for her friends.  Girls are drama and it's heart to find a friend with the same heart beat.  I pray the Lord will bring friends into Kate's life that will encourage her in her walk with the Lord, friends that will hold her accountable to Truth and won't let her be complacent with the world's standards.  As I look at this silly picture...I pray that Kate will be comfortable in who God created her to be...with whatever personality our all-knowing Creator gave her..that she will never try to be someone that He didn't intend for her to be. 

I pray over these sweet spirited boys.  As they are in training to become godly young men, I pray that they too be bold as they learn to walk in the light of God's Truth.  I pray that their design and personalities will come alive as they find their freedom in Christ.  These two are as different as night and day and what a perfect picture of different personalities coming together to compliment one another and be used for God's glory.  I pray that will be strong warriors as they take a stand against the devil's schemes.   

Brett has been asking for a few years about losing his first tooth.  Most of his friends and cousins got their teeth early so they've all lost a few so he has been waiting eagerly.  A very happy and excited boy we have!

Crew Kindle is adorable!  Yes, this picture needs to be rotated...use your imagination!  He slipped, fell and smacked his face on the coffee table which resulted in a cut eye-lid and a swollen nose.  Broken?  Who knows but it's about three times it's normal, cute, little pug size....Mimi got splatter painted with blood in the process....it was as interesting as Crew is himself.  For this little guy I pray that the Lord give him a passion for others and for kingdom work.  He is a passionate boy by nature so I pray and trust God will use his life to bring others into his kingdom  He is a fiery fellow and I pray that even at an early age the love of Christ will consume his little heart. 

She is a princess and I'm thankful for a husband that will speak truth and beauty into this little ones life.
