silly girls

Being with your children 24/7 brings many belly laughs, heart to hearts and it's such a blessing to see their wheels turning, their hearts convicted and their learning that in humility consider others better than themselves.  I hope all parents are seeking to be intentional and really invest in their children.  Really listening to them and not just talking at them all the time....putting down anchors into their little souls.  It's so hard with so many chatty kathy kiddos but it's well worth it.  .

Today's Funny From B-Rett!

Brett mentioned bossy girls and then his face turned all crazy and frustrated as he started talking about how silly and crazy girls are....his hands and arms were flying all over the place as he said, "if girls have to go wash their hands they have to hold hands on their way to the sink, they can't go anywhere by themselves, if they have to do this they hold hands together, why do girls have to hold hands and go together everywhere all the time?" 

My only reponse was laughing and saying, "Brett, this goes on for a long time even when girls get older so you are just going to have to deal with it!"  He is very frustrated over how crazy that is.
