pottytraining

Pottytraining is definitely NOT for sloths!  The Little Miss has been wearing big girl panties all day and honestly, I'm ready for her to nap so I can get a break.  She is taking this stuff seriously....she has to go EVERY three minutes it seems...and she goes.  I think she likes washing her hands....it's quite the motivator.  This past time, Crew insisted that Kate wanted him so I kept the bathroom door cracked so I could peek through.  He kept smiling at Kate, encouraging her and cheering her on....they giggled, he folded the toilet paper for her....they are too much fun.  Maybe I should've just let the boys train her.  She the big girl on the left.....she fixed her own hair and picked out her heels for the special occassion of potty training.  I can't even begin to tell you all of the hilarious conversations Kate and I have had while she has been sitting on the potty.  She is a Chatty Kathy.....we get along well! :) 

This is so funny to me.  As I've thought about all of the potty training we've done over the years....none of it was like this.  Parker's training carried on and on to the point of making threats of corporal punishment.....he was almost three!  I honestly can't remember how Brett's potty training went but I know it wasn't too long after he turned two because he and Crew weren't in diapers at the same time.  Crew potty trained himself a week after Kate was born....we let him run around the house naked while I sat around and nursed....he was 2 years and a month old....so...I don't have a lot of horrid PT stories but this is funny because she is very verbal and comes up with the silliest stuff that she doesn't even realize is entertaining! 

I am going out of town for several days so I've asked Mimi to carry on and get her good and trained while I'm away...I timed that well, huh?  We are excited.....have been buying diapers for over eight years!
