In an effort show this child grace and keep from throwing an elbow down on him (just kidding) I've really had to pray for Crew.....that he will desire to be obedient, kind and pleasing to the Lord in his actions. His defense mechanism is to hit....I understand his dilemma...but we all know that we can't just go around hitting those that don't comply. Although, I wish it were acceptable at times :) but...it's not! Anyway, the little booger is in there taking a nap with his sister so I thought I would blog about him for a second. The other day, (remember, in an effort to show grace and train) he waylaid his brother and I said, "Crew come here, please!" He reluctantly came my way with his little hand covering his toosh as I sat down on the stool. I took both of his hands into mine and said, "Crew, we do not hit. God gave us hands to hold, to hug, to love, to touch and to be nice...not to hit. Okay?" I think he was confused because I wasn't annoyed so he answered with a polite "yes ma'am!" That night when we were praying he folded his hands together and said, "our hands are to love and hug and hold!" You can't imagine the smile on my face! Isn't this child beeeeeeutiful!!!!!!

we went to lunch with some new friends after church yesterday and they have a little boy that reminded me so much of crew. he is a year younger than crew, but his little face was so cute like his. anyway, i agree he is beeeeautiful!
